Armed with a pen and fork, Chef Gwen launches a blog...

 

    I have been extremely fortunate during my culinary career. I have three award-winning cookbooks, I've taught hundreds of cooking classes, and now, I'm doing the kind of food writing I've always wanted to do. I'm reviewing restaurants, writing about local food producers, exploring what makes certain chefs tick, and covering all kinds of food-centric topics.

 

    The next logical step in my ever evolving culinary career, is blogging. It was only a matter of time really. Blogs have taken off over the past three years as another means of communicating. And so I, too, join the blogosphere by announcing my blog today.

 

    Writing a blog takes a certain level of commitment. I will still update the website once a month, posting a new recipe, cooking tip and article. I hope to write a few posts a week on the blog, covering a range of topics, mostly related to food, of course, but occasionally I'll stray off course and just write about whatever strikes me. So far, I've written about my new skink, my growing cookbook collection, and rosé wines. I've sprinkled in a few recipes, too.
